Sustain Ideas
Sustain Ideas is a collection of ideas contributed by a variety of people where each item is intended to be a method of promoting sustainability in some specific category. The ideas fall into a variety of categories and for a variety of audiences. [Click on the picture in the upper right for an explanation of how this illustrates sustainability.]
There are three main features to this website.
- Users can, and are encouraged to, add new ideas (while actual inclusion on the site is subject to approval by the editor), making this an interactive web site.
- Readers can respond to the pages by either posting comments reacting to an idea found here or by responding to the contributor with questions or comments (in such a way as to preserve the anonymity of the contributor).
- Users can sign up for a subscription so that one is periodically emailed random ideas from this database (but the scope controlled by the subscriber).
