About Us

NAMI of Central College was founded in 2004 by Kelli Beckel, Katie Bieret, Caitlin Johnson and Jess Schulz with the advisement of Jon Dobernecker. The founding members wanted to bring mental health awareness to Central College and to help those in need of mental health support.

Mission Statement

NAMI of Central college is dedicated to helping students and the community in understanding what mental issness is and breaking the stigma associated with it. We aim to educate and provide support for those who are affected by mental illness in any way.
