Good Stewards
Tonight at Nine we will be continuing our series on Becoming the Answer to Our Prayers. Nick Rohner will be talking about tonight’s prayer, “Lord, provide,” and looking at how to be good stewards of our resources. It’s been a while since we were all together, so you should all come tonight. We’ll be in Douwstra at 9 p.m.
Senior Dessert: THIS Sunday, April 26, at 3 p.m. at The Place (on Main Street between the movie theater and Smokey Row), the IV staff would like to bless this year’s graduates with a get-out-of-here-already party. As the name implies, dessert will be involved. If you’d like to come, RSVP to Kathy Haug at kathrynhaug@yahoo.com.
A local Christian radio station (KCWN) is looking for college students to DJ some of their programming. If you’re interested contact Sharyl Fosenburg (641-780-2022) to arrange an interview.
Also, the Catalyst deadline is MAY 1. Contact Kathy Haug at kathrynhaug@yahoo.com or check out www.ivcatalyst.com if you have questions. There will also be more information available in the back after Nine.
Retreat!
Campus Ministries will be hosting a middle school retreat for some local students tomorrow night(Friday, 17 April) on campus. They're looking for students who would be willing to worship with and invest in the kids while they're here. If you're interested, join them for worship at 9 p.m. in the upper chapel.

Nine tonight and City Lights Deadline
Nine is at 9 pm in Douwstra tonight, per the usual. We will be continuing our series on Becoming the Answer to Our Prayers by breaking out into faculty-led small groups. Tonight’s prayer, “Lord, take my whole life,” explores integrating our faith with our major and plans for the future.
(We still have copies of Becoming the Answer to Our Prayers available for $3 if you would like to read it. Copies will be available after Nine.)
Also, the deadline for the City Lights trip is THIS Saturday, March 7.

Welcome Back!
Christmas Break is over, and it is time to gear up for a new semester! And what better way to keep yourself grounded than coming to a weekly place of worship?
NINE begins tonight at 9 p.m. in Douwstra, and we will begin our journey into "Becoming the Answer to Our Prayers".
Hope to see you all there!
10/1
Last Week: Andy Kampman challenged us to consider the great commission, the call to make disciples in every people group or “ethnos” in the world. God’s love is for the world, a global love. Will we love likewise?
Next NINE: 10/8-The novelty of the year wearing off? Roommate tension? Relationship strains? This week we start a series on aspects of biblical community. We’ll be in Ephesians as we wrestle with how to have healthy conflict and reconciliation.
Get Ready For It
NINE will be in Douwstra Auditorium at 9pm. The teacher is Jon Hietbrink, IVCF Area Director for Iowa. He will be continuing on the Acts 1 theme about being witnesses, focusing on our “Samaria”. Come ready to drink it up!
