This is an activity to use relative URL's to link a series of web pages. In each one of the pages, create the links to every other page. Of course, to make the activity interesting, there are several levels of folders and several pages that have the same name. You may work in groups of two or three. Add the names of people in your group to the top of this page, right justified.
You can find the lesson5 folder in my drop folder G:\Lintont\COSC106\. This folder contains folders and files in the structure shown below. Copy the lesson 5 folder into your public folder on the H drive. With the web browser, open the file, lesson5.html, found in the lesson5 folder now in your drive. Edit each web page so that it links to every other color web page. When you have successfully linked all the pages together, copy the lesson5 folder from your H drive to your K drive. Add a link from your home page (index.html on the K drive) to your lesson 5 site.
To start things off, I have placed a link back to this page in each of the color web pages. I have also indicated the structure of the lesson 5 site in each of the pages, to ease the testing of the links. You might find it advantageous to have this file open as you add the links between the pages.
