Linda's Picture

This is a picture of the woman of my dreams, Linda C. Goodman.

The Plan

Linda and I became man and wife on Saturday, June 7th, 1997 at Trinity United Methodist Church in Denton, TX. She is all I have ever dreamed of and more, but how we met is a pretty good tale too.

Our Story

Rose My loving mother, Carolyn Goodman, used to work at North Central Texas College in Denton, TX. In the Fall of 1995 she decided to quit her job there. Well, she had also been taking classes at the school and happened to have met a cute little thing named Linda in her English class. Well, I would never hear the end of it. Every day, Mom would come home and say, "You have just got to meet Linda! She's just perfect for you. You would be so cute together!" Well before she left the school for good, Mom finally got Linda's number for me to call her.

On December 7th, 1995 I finally did it. I was home and my mom kept asking if I was gonna call, so I decided to call. The rest is history. Linda and I have the best relationship anyone could ever ask for and on July 28th, 1996 I asked her to be my wife and partner forever. Thank G-D she said, and I quote, "YES!!" The only downside is when I first hugged her she was looking over my shoulder to look at the pretty diamond ring on her finger .

But there you go. I have found the woman I always dreamt of to marry, raise a family with, and grow old with. I feel like the luckiest man in the world every day she's in my life. Russ n' Linda

Here are just a few of the dates we had when I was courting her.
